I had my first sewing lesson when I was 10 years old in 4-H club. I made polyester lime green pants! I still love the color green but now it shows up in quilts instead of my pants….lol!  I taught myself to quilt in 1997 from a Fons and Porter Basics of Quilting book so I could teach junior high students how to make a quilt block which was then made into a pillow.  That was the beginning of a wonderful hobby which has become so much more!

Sew Kind of Wonderful was launched in 2011 with my sister Jenny. We love to sew curves and want to share this curvy passion with others!  We love to design quilts that range from traditional, to contemporary to modern with a combination of curved and straight piecing.  We designed the Quick Curve Ruler and QCR Mini Ruler to make cutting and sewing curves fast and easy.  We take a simple approach to sewing curves - no pinning, no finding center, just cut - sew - and square up!
